Its large dimensions, glossy finish, and delicate ornament in a lighter tone give it an elegant and balanced presence.

The piece rests on a turned central pedestal from which four curved legs extend, finished with golden-toned metal caps. Its height of 52.5 cm makes it suitable for use in front of seating, as a support for books, trays, decorative objects, or centerpieces.

The design of the inlaid oval table features an English-inspired aesthetic. The shape of the top, the turned pedestal, the splayed legs, and the metal caps are reminiscent of furniture in the classical revival style associated with Regency and Sheraton. William Tillman is known in the market for furniture with a classic English inspiration; however, in the absence of a visible mark, this piece is described only as being in his style and not as a confirmed work by the maker.

The decoration of the tabletop is organized by means of a fine oval border and several ornamental motifs. At one of its ends, a composition resembling a classic urn accompanied by plant forms and scrolls stands out. The inlay contrasts discreetly with the dark tone of the wood without overwhelming the whole.

The inlaid oval table can be integrated into a traditional living room, library, office, or an eclectic aesthetic room.
